You Don't Have to Perform to Belong

Simple line-art branch symbolizing softness, growth, and grounding.

For me, performing looked like earning community love just to stay part of the flock.

It meant pretending I didn’t see what I saw, didn’t experience what I experienced, didn’t feel what I felt.

A lot of us learned to keep the peace by saying yes when our bodies were screaming no.

We accepted other people’s judgments as truth.

We played the parts they expected because belonging felt safer than being real.

Eventually, I realized I wasn’t living...

I was surviving.

I was being slowly erased, and it was killing me.

Why I Created This Space

I built this place because I wondered how many others felt this way, too...

searching for real connection, longing to feel understood and valued, wanting to offer that same understanding to people who’ve spent years surrounded by others and still felt utterly alone.

My hope is simple:

When you’re here, you feel connection, acceptance, community, warmth, belonging, curiosity, compassion, and that you discover yourself a little more steadily each time you return. You don't have to perform to belong here.

If you stay awhile, I hope you feel a little less alone in your story, a little less misunderstood, and a little more held by a community that truly sees you.

A Soft Landing

If something in this found you today, I’m glad you’re here. You don’t have to be anything but yourself in this space.
