I’m Jane Davidson, a Trauma Recovery Coach. I help women, queer, trans, and nonbinary folks heal the aftereffects of relational and religious trauma, sexual betrayal, and complex grief. My approach is warm, direct, and practical. No toxic positivity. No spiritual bypass. Just honest tools, steady support, and space to be fully seen.

What is Trauma Recovery Coaching?

Trauma recovery coaching is about rebuilding trust in yourself after life has taken pieces of that trust away. Unlike therapy, we don’t live in the past; we acknowledge it, but our focus is on who you are today and where you want to go.

As your coach, I walk alongside you, helping you untangle survival patterns that once kept you safe but now hold you back. Together, we practice new ways of setting boundaries, regulating your nervous system, and creating relationships with yourself and others that feel steady and real.

Coaching is future-focused, collaborative, and practical. It’s not about fixing you,  because you’re not broken. It’s about giving you the tools, insight, and support you need to move forward with clarity and confidence.

What Healing Can Look Like

Trust yourself:  Learn to trust your own wisdom instead of repeating old survival patterns.

Set healthy boundaries:  Say yes and no in ways that protect your energy.

Taking responsibility for your healing: Own what’s yours, and release what isn’t

Create recovery goals: Define what healing means to you, and move forward at your own pace.

We all need a fresh start sometimes. The Humble Pie is my creative framework for recovering from old patterns like people-pleasing, self-abandonment, perfectionism, or just the habit of giving too many second chances.

 

These 12 steps aren’t about religion or rigid rules. They’re about reclaiming your voice, setting boundaries, and finding humor in the messy, human parts of growth.

 

Think of it as equal parts self-reflection, tough love, and a wink of cheeky wisdom. Every slice offers a story, a reflection, and an affirmation you can take with you.

1:1 Coaching
Trauma-informed coaching for attachment wounds, betrayal recovery, and nervous system care. Sessions are 60 minutes on Zoom. Sliding scale spots are available.

 

Focus Groups (5–10 people)
Topic-based series using The Humble Pie steps, journaling prompts, and affirmations. Listen, share if you want, leave with tools you can use right away.
