About Me

Hi, I’m Jane Davidson, founder of The Humble Pie, LLC. I’m a trauma recovery coach, writer, and artist living in New Mexico. My work is about helping women rebuild trust in themselves, one small step, or slice, at a time.

I know what it means to live through loss, reinvention, and carrying emotional weight that never belonged to you. I’m a mother, a grandmother, a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, and someone who rebuilt her life from scratch at 60. My path hasn’t been linear, but it’s given me the kind of resilience, perspective, and stubborn hope you only earn the hard way.

I ground this work in both experience and education. I hold a doctorate in education, and I am a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach. I combine evidence-informed coaching with lived experience so that what I offer is both practical and deeply human.

I believe healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken, it’s about reclaiming what was never lost. I believe in voice and choice. I believe boundaries are acts of love. And I believe humor (especially the dark kind) belongs in healing just as much as tenderness does.

When we work together, you can expect honesty, warmth, and a space where nothing about you is “too much.” I’ll meet you where you are, whether you’re untangling old survival patterns, finding your footing after betrayal or burnout, or simply remembering what it feels like to belong to yourself again.

If you’ve been carrying too much for too long, I’d be honored to walk beside you as you rebuild from the inside out. You can book a coaching session, explore The Humble Pie reflections, or join my newsletter if you want a taste of this work.
