About Me
Hi, I’m Jane Davidson, founder of The Humble Pie, LLC. I’m a trauma recovery coach, writer, and artist living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My work is about helping people rebuild trust in themselves, one small step — or slice — at a time.
I know what it means to live through loss, reinvention, and carrying burdens that should never have been yours. I’m a trauma survivor, a mother and grandmother, a late-diagnosed neurodivergent adult, and a woman who has started over at 60 to build a life rooted in truth and freedom. My path hasn’t been linear, but it has taught me resilience, perspective, and a deep compassion for others walking their own hard roads.
I also bring professional grounding to this work: I hold a doctorate in education, and I am a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach. I combine evidence-informed coaching with lived experience so that what I offer is both practical and real.
I believe healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken, but reclaiming what was never lost. I believe in voice and choice. I believe boundaries are acts of love, for yourself and others. And I believe laughter and dark humor belong in healing as much as tears do.
When we work together, you can expect honesty, warmth, and a safe space where nothing about you is “too much.” I’ll meet you where you are, whether you’re untangling old patterns, learning to set boundaries, or simply trying to remember what it feels like to belong to yourself.
If you’ve been carrying too much for too long, I’d love to walk beside you as you find your footing again. You can book a session, explore The Humble Pie reflections, or just join my newsletter for a taste of this work.
