Short lessons
On-demand videos and reflection prompts help you examine one idea at a time. The classroom begins with orientation and curiosity, then moves through topics such as the body, family roles, attachment, and grief.

The Humble Pie · An online learning community
A reel can name the thing you’ve carried for years. Here, we have room to ask what shaped it, how it still shows up, and what else might be true.

01 / Why this space exists
Sometimes a sentence lands because it gives language to a feeling you’ve never quite been able to explain. The Cut is a place to slow down after that moment. We look at grief that went unnamed, rules we learned inside families, the ways our bodies adapted, and the stories we tell ourselves to make sense of it all.
There’s no requirement to disclose your history or arrive with the right vocabulary. You can listen, learn, reflect, and participate at your own pace.
02 / Inside The Cut
Come in through the lessons, the live sessions, or a question you can’t shake.
On-demand videos and reflection prompts help you examine one idea at a time. The classroom begins with orientation and curiosity, then moves through topics such as the body, family roles, attachment, and grief.
We meet online for guided conversations that connect ideas to ordinary life. You can bring a question, take part, or simply listen. Coffee chats offer another, less structured way to connect.
The discussion feed keeps the inquiry going with session notes, questions, and reflections. You don’t have to carry a thought alone until the next meeting.

03 / The way we work
Some days the useful question is “What happened here?” Other days it’s “Why can’t I be curious about this yet?” Both belong. I teach as an educator and trauma recovery coach, with care for what people have lived through and respect for what they choose to share.
The Cut is an educational community, not group therapy or a substitute for mental health care.
