Pie makes people happy. There's nothing quite like a slice of warm pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Making and selling pie here in Volcano is a treat - its great to give people a slice of good memories and hear the 'mmms'. The immediate satisfaction is unbeatable! I've been baking since I was a kid, always the one to bring dessert - but pie is my favorite, and with so many varieties - I can't wait to try them all!

I love the old standards, but I'll also make what I call 'heritage' pies - pies that are rarely made commercially - like Custards, Rhubarb, and Mince, among others.

This Week's Pies!

August 20 - August 24, 2008 You can also find us each Wednesday afternoon at the Pine Grove Farmer's Market and each Saturday morning at the Sutter Creek Farmer's Market. Stop by and say hello!
Apple Crumb - a traditional apple pie, piled high with a variety of fresh apples, and a crunchy crumb topping.   
Chocolate Mousse Pie - Light and creamy chocolate mousse in a chocolate crumb crust topped with hand-dipped chocolate covered cherries on top. Delicious!   
Blackberry Pie - Fresh blackberries loaded into a double-crust pie. So good with ice cream!   
Key Lime Pie - A tart & tangy traditional Key Lime pie made with real Key Lime juice, and served in a graham cracker crust.   
Pineapple Macadamia Nut - similar to a pecan pie, but with chunks of pineapple and macadamia nuts   
Pecan - rich and delicious!   
Rhubarb - Tangy pink rhubarb under a woven lattice crust. Beautiful!   
Blueberry Pie - Blueberry filling topped with a beautiful lattice crust.   
Double Cherry Lattice - Delicious double cherry filling topped with a hand-woven lattice crust.

We're normally open Wednesday-Friday, 8am to 5:30pm and weekends 8am to 5:00pm.

Order Your Pie!

You can pre-order whole pies for special occasions or just for everyday dessert - just stop by or give us a call at least a day in advance. You can also pre-order pasties, sausage rolls and fry pies!
